The Lee County Animal Care Trust Fund was established in 2002 to provide specialized care and services to stray domestic animals of Lee County that may be outside of our usual budget constraints. In 2016 we spent almost $100,000 for major surgeries, consultations and medical care outside of the ability of our veterinary staff. Our agency employs 16 Animal Control Officers and one supervisor to handle all domestic animal-related incidents throughout all of Lee County.
